SPAREX PICKLE COMPOUND
A safe, easy-to-use compound for removing fire scale and oxidation from gold, silver, and copper. It contains sodium bi-sulfate in a dry granular powder form. It is ready to use by adding water according to directions. Steel will contaminate the solution so use copper tongs. Also, do not put spring rings or lobster claws into pickle.
1 quart of solution, mix one 10 oz bag with 24 oz of warm (125F) water. Stir until dissolved.
